MARTI'S MESSAGE
Marti believes that we do not have a strong enough voice at the State level for our region, and that is due to a lack of transparency, a lack of a representative voice between the State and its constituents, and that the people have a lack of knowledge and understanding about what public servants should be doing. It is time to initiate educational and transparent formats to work in unity with and among fellow colleagues to awaken and promote the silent voices of our State Assembly District 24.

We have 3 main goals.
PRACTICAL QUALITY EDUCATION
California’s public school system ranks #44 in the United States. We are FAILING to teach our students the fundamental skills to succeed in life; like reading, writing, math and science.
PUBLIC SAFETY AND TRUST WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT
Focus on ensuring that dangerous people are kept in prison and out of our communities and support our law enforcement.
MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES, PREVENTION OF HOMELESSNESS AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING
California has spent $17.5 billion trying to combat homelessness over just 4 years. In the same timeframe, the State’s homeless population grew.
CONTRIBUTIONS TO OUR COMMUNITY
- Bringing together interfaith & multi-ethnic community volunteers
- Identify and help remove silos for those in need of food resources
CIVIC AWARENESS & SOLUTIONS FOR IMPROVEING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
- Advisory outreach to identify root causes and focusing on children’s development.
- Teacher’s resources for quality education.
- Discuss ideas to prevent homelessness and improve public safety.
- Leverage local business constituents for quality job growth.
CRISES AWARENESS FOR FAMILIES
- Community you health events, with resources and health center development.
- We need to have ‘teacher’ oversight in them ‘helping’ with challenged students. Too much opportunity for problems without the oversight.
